Poco prima delle 18 \u00e8 scattato l&#8217;allarme e una quindicina di soccorritori del Soccorso alpino di Cortina, del Sagf e dei Carabinieri \u00e8 partita per recuperarli. Le squadre si sono avvicinate in motoslitta fino al Rifugio Faloria, per poi proseguire a piedi e affrontare la ferrata dalla fine. Difficile l&#8217;intervento portato avanti dall&#8217;alto, per il buio e la parete di roccia ricoperta di neve e ghiaccio. I soccorritori hanno dovuto mettere in sicurezza tutta la calata attrezzando con numerose corde il tratto per raggiungere i tre. Uno alla volta gli escursionisti sono stati sollevati, portati fuori dal percorso attrezzato e accompagnati al Rifugio, per poi essere trasportati a Rio Gere.
