Da tempo ormai si presenta il problema della gestione degli ungulati rinvenuti feriti. Anche ieri mattina un cervo gravemente ferito \u00e8 rimasto ore a bordo strada ad agonizzare. Le guardie provinciali sono in numero ridotto e gestiscono un territorio ampio. In caso di rinvenimento di animali feriti che necessitino abbattimento \u00e8 necessario attendere l’arrivo delle guardie provinciali e la successiva autorizzazione del veterinario per procedere. “Per porre fine alle sofferenze dell’animale – dice il sindaco Camillo De Pellegrin- bisogna aspettare a volte anche molte ore. Una procedura questa, che pur comprensibile, non \u00e8 accettabile e non \u00e8 compatibile con il rispetto del benessere animale. Serve un intervento di modifica alle procedure che renda possibile l’abbattimento da parte di persone competenti e autorizzate ma che siano in grado di intervenire in tempi ragionevoli. In un paese civile questo deve essere possibile”.<\/em><\/p>\n
