Es Sahel ha tentato di violentare un detenuto afghano nella sua cella usando una forchetta come minaccia. La vittima ha raccontato di essere stata costantemente palpeggiata e seguita anche in bagno. Non ci sono stati testimoni oculari, ma lo psichiatra Fabio Candeago ha dichiarato che il detenuto ha sofferto di una forte sofferenza emotiva a causa dell&#8217;assassinio del padre e del viaggio verso l&#8217;Europa. La difesa ha ammesso solo che Es Sahel era un piantagrane violento e aggressivo.
