Emigrato in Nord America nel dopoguerra, fond\u00f2 a Toronto la Lovat Tunnel Equipment Inc., azienda leader nella produzione di \u201ctalpe meccaniche\u201d per tunnel e metropolitane in tutto il mondo. Innovatore delle perforatrici a piena sezione, ha rivoluzionato sicurezza e precisione nei cantieri sotterranei. Nel 2014 fu insignito del premio \u201cBellunesi che onorano la provincia di Belluno\u201d. Lovat resta simbolo di talento, determinazione e forte legame con le proprie radici.
