Per oltre sessant\u2019anni iscritto al Cai di Agordo, fu tra i fondatori nel 1965 del gruppo alpinistico Gir, protagonista di una stagione importante dell\u2019arrampicata locale. Tra il 1965 e il 1970 partecip\u00f2 anche a numerosi interventi del Soccorso alpino. Perito minerario, lavor\u00f2 a lungo all\u2019estero prima di rientrare in Agordino. Lascia la moglie Paola, i figli Massimo e Michela.
